Climate justice is the throughline of my work and research. Those who will be hit first and the worst with the inevitable impact of climate change do not have the privilege of empty promises and frivolous innovation. They deserve a chance, and a choice.
Choice is the exercise of freedom. All too often the choices of a select few — be they designers of algorithms or oligarchies — weaken the freedoms of many. I aim to understand the drivers of individual behavior and develop sustainable solutions to encourage smarter decisions while also analyzing and holding accountable the institutions maintaining this system of imbalance.
